Fifty-five Dollars For Prying Open A Window
Mrs. Dowdigan, División street, who keeps a popular boarding house f or studen ts, had lifty-flve dollars stolen frotn her Tuesday evening. The money was in a purse in her bedroom. The thief raised the window and took the money out oí the purse, Jeavin? the latter on the window sill. It is supposed this happened about the supper hour. The track to the window ledjfrom back of the house and indicated that the thief had a small foot. About Christmas, Mrs. Dowdigan had five dollars taken f rom her purse, the theif on that occasion leaving alargeramount behind him.
