The Republican City Nominees
The Republicana held their ward caucuses Wednesday evening at the usual places. After electing delegates tothe city convention held last evening, the candidatos were nominated for aldermen. In the first ward a written declination signed by G. Frank All" mendinger was read, but nevertheless Mr. Allmendiuger was nominated by acclamation. The second wardrenominated ex-Ald. A. Herz. The third ward, after C. E. Hiscock had positively declined a nomination, nominated Resinald Spokes. The fourth ward caucus nominated John Lawrence, Esq . , for the long term and lef t the short term vacant. The [fifth ward renominated Earl Ware and the sixth ward put up 13. Barker. At their convention, last evening, the Republicana nominated Dr. V. B. Smith for mayor and George H. Pond for recorder. For supervisor, flrst district. Albert Garduer; third district, N. D. Gates.
