St. Louis, Mo., March 27.- Recorder ïobbs bas reíused to issue a marriage lieense o Fenton Cox and Eftio Ellis, Dr. Cox, who arew acid in Effle's face, having declared renton to be under age. Young Cox claiins to have len born March 30, 1800, whicb would make hira nearly 23 year old, and this is what he represented himself to bo before ie present trouble. He says that he is going o marry the girl, and soon, too, iL he has to eave the country to do it. A telegram to ipringfield inquiring about Cox's age jrought back the response that his father claimed he was only 18 years old. Clara Louise Kellogg, with a carefully selected Concert Company, will appear at the grand opera house, Monday, April 9th, in a program of concert seleetions and scènes f rom the Grand operas of "La Favorite" of "Donizetti" and "Rigoletts" of Verdi. This engagement is already exciting considerable stir in musical circles and a large house will undoubted greet Míbs Kellogg.
