Among the girls in the Starr opera conipany, which was here last week, was one whose head was of a particularly fiery hue, and as was plainly apparent, she was very sensitivo about ït. It didn't take the university boys very lorg to find it out and the next evening after the discovery was made, the front row of the opera house was occupied by those only who had white horses in íheir hats. Every time the red headed girl came upon the stage the hats were twirled so that the representation of the white horses greeted her. The moment she left the stage, the white horses disappeared. She was furious, so much so that it is stated that her passion threw her into a fit before she lett the opera house.
