Dr. Pinkham visited Ann Arbor, Saturday. Mrs. Gardner is entertaining uests from Canada. Justice Marble and VV. S. Wallace visited Monroe Monday. Messrs. Kelley and Whitmarsh visited Ann Arbor, Monday. Rev. Gilchriese, of Evanston, 111. , is visiting his family in Milan. Mr. and Mrs. Ed . Hinkley have returned from their Bellville visit. Mrs. E. M. Pinkham visited friends in Ann Arbor the first of the week. Mr, William Gauntlett and family moved into Mrs. Haight's house on County street. Mr. tred Guy and family are moving into Robert Lamkin's house on County street. The residents of Milan are clearing their lawns trying to coax pleasant weather and sunshine. There are many sick ones in Milan much tothe joy of the medical fraternity who are reaping a harvest at present. The crazy social is the theme fo conversation with the crazy supper and crazy costumes to be held in the parlors of the Baptist church. A chicken pie social at the Rice house under the auspicies of the Presbyterian society next Saturday. The interested ones are fasting för the occasion. We were thinking just about now how nice it would be if only some enerprising dog-snatcher wouli wend :heir way to Milan. What a fine narvest they could reap for experimental purposes at the medical deDartment in "Moden Athens."
