Boston, April 10.- Harry Phillips, manager for John L. Sullivan, offers to match Sullivan to fight any man in the world, two or three months from the signing of the articles, for $5.000 or $10,000 a side, the battleground to be miitually agreed upon, marquis of Queensberry rules to govern. Sullivan prefers to meet Jack Kilrain , the sporting editor of The Boston Herald to act as temporary stake-holder, and the editor of The New York Illustrated News to act as final stake-holder and to appoint a referee in case one can not be agreed upon. Mr. Phillips has Jeposited $250 forfeit.
