The Chequamegons vyill furnish the eormneneeinent music for the law class this year. A iiew chapter of Phi Beta Phi frater' nity has been organized by six youug ladies of the university. A California association will be formed in the university this evening by ihe niany California students Dpw in attendance here. The Iiugoy team won two carnes last week; one last Friday at Notie Dame by a score of 26 to 6 and one at South Bend on Saturday by a score of 10 to 4. The democratie clubhold a meeting this even ing when the democracy of Jefferson, Jackson and Cleveland will be discussed. The programme will be an interestin? ono. The Alpha Delta Phi fraternity defeated the Chi Psi's in a game of base ball last Satarday 12 to 11. Tlie Chi Psi's flefeated Delta Tau Delta 26 to 9. The Delta Kappa Epsilon's . defeated the Phi Kappa Phi's 9 to 4, and ihe TJeta Theta Pi's defeated Sisma l'hi's 10to9. Oscar Roberts, a raember of the freshmen literary class, lost a tlumib and finger and bad Ij cut the other fingers of his right hand last Momlay operating a buzzsaw iu the mechanical laboratory. He was attempting to push ablock of wood through when the bnzz saw caught his fingers. ïhe next meeting of the Michigan School master's club will be held a week from to-morrow in room Ü4 at the university.
