South Lyon has a dentist ofhce, located with VV. C. Brown, M. D. Wilham Greig is better and will soon be able to take charge of the furniture factory business again. Dr. Walker novv has his telephone Une working in good shape which proves a great.saving in driving and time. It is rumored that W. W. Waite, dentist, of Brighton, sentenced to states prison for five years is to have-a nevv trial. It is rumored that Ringsley Calkins will add to his grocery stock a full line of clothïng and o-ents furnishing goods. It is a fact that more Ann Arbor flour is sold in South Lyon than all other brands, which speaks well for the milis of that place. Ed. Sellman and L. B. Manning will return to Iowa in a few days where they will continue in the employ of Johns Bros. selling fruit trees and seeds. The number of cases of Measles is not so large as last week but in some cases where a relapase sets in patients are very sick but none have proved fatal. D. E. Smith afkd A. F. Vanatta has brought up all the stock of the Salem cooperative Co. and are closing out a greater portion of the stock at very low prices. The thermometer is a very good thing to have around but does not please our gardners to look at these days. i'esterday morning all the tomafo plants were frozen which only makes a doublé sale for our hot house man.
