Those last rains have made the wheat, oats and grapes boom. The ladies of the M. E. church, did a nice job of cleaning at the church recently. The corn and potatoes in this vicinity are all up and the farmers are busy cultivating. Michael Howard, of Superior, has 70 fine wool sheep, that any farmer might be proud of. Arthur Covert lost a valuuble mare Wednesday, May 3oth, and George Campbell lost a good work horse on the same date. If nothing happens to the fruit trees from now on, the prospect is good for a large erop. I never before saw them blossom so freely. Overcoats and mittens did not come amiss on the morning of the 2nd of June. So far it is the coldes spring ever known in this vicinity
