Will Minnett made a business trip to Ypsilanti, Wednesday. A. K. Rouse rode on a "bi" to county capital last Friday. Miss Millie Hitchcock. of Milan, called at M. Webb's last Sunday. A new plank sidewalk in front of S. H. Josenhan's blacksmith shop. Miss M. A. Davenport left Monday evening for a trip of a few days Carpet weavers have been and are very busy in this vicinity this season Scarlet fever has appeared again in the B. W. Forbes' school district 'Tis about time for strawberry fes tivals to reign supreme in the church social line. Miss Ida L. Webb visited in Mi lan from Friday evening until Sun day p. m. At least one Salineite made a guess for the Detroit Journals' ho vveather offer. Last Sunday was almost a perfec day, and many were the pleasure riders in the afternoon. A few young couples from thi vicinity will go to the normal socie ties "public" Friday night. Miss Lizzie E. Glover's school in the B.
