A Fraud Exposed
The officers fouod a tramp Monday, begging for food and money, with his arm done up in a piaster cast, and telling a pitiable story of a broken arm. He was taken to Dr. Darling's office and the piaster caat removed from his arm. The doctor on uaaking the examination pronounced the tramp a fraud, his arm never havina: been broken. A search revealed the fact that he had $2.26 about his person. He was taken to jail. This is only one of the numerous ways in which these tramps are endeavoring to sponge a living from the public. It is a pity that we don't have a stone yard to put suh fellows at work.
