At the annual ;convention of the Episcopal diocese of Michigan held in ackson last week, Rev. Mr. lEarp, of lis city was made chairinan of the ommittee on Christian Education and 3hristian literature. In his annual adress, Bishop Harris alluded feelingly o the death of Dr. A. B. Palmer. In eferring to Hobart Hall, he said the work had been carried on successtully mt larger endowments were needed for ectures and orclinary expenses. Mr. J. H. Wheeler was made the lay member f the conimittee on the address. ïev. William Galpin was elected reeisrar of the diocese. The diocese was ivided into three convocations and lev. Mr. Earp was made president of tie convocation of Detroit.
