That Chelsea--dexter Ball Game

Dixter, Mich., June 11, 1883. Editor Argus:- Arnongyour Chelsea items iu last week's issue I noticed a report that tbe Chelsea ball club defeated the Dexter ball club on Saturday. Now iu correction of this report I wish to say flrst"tüat we did not play on. featurday but on ïuesday, second, that we were not beateu as the score stood nine and uine on the last half of the ninth inning, when we were at the bat, when with one man out and a man ou second base Chelsea kicked out of the game and refused to finish our last iuuing and thereby ïorfeited the game to us. I wish further to say that we are open for chalenges from any second nine in the couniv. Kespectfully,
