Cixcixxati, June 9. - A daring attempt was made to rob train No. 1U on the Big Four road, due here at 10:80 last night. Just as the train was lea ving Delhi, a few miles west of here, five inen boarded it and attaeked the express car. A desperate resistance was offered by the train raeu, and during the raelee Baggagemaster Ketcham, of this city, was shot five times, and James Boyd, the engineer, beaten almost into insensibility.
