He has been suffering froin a complicatioii of diseases tor sonie time whicta have completely baffled the skill of the physicians, Tbe judge endured the strain until it prevented his attending to hu official dutiss and then desided to retire. Judge Fhillips and O. H. Dean, au attoruey of this :ity, are aspirants for the position.
