Washtenaw Crop Prospects. The state crop report shows an estimated average yield of wheat in this country of 12.33 bushes per acre against a yield of 11.28 bushels per acre last year. The number of acre of wheat planted is 67,750. The average yield in the state is estimated at 10.58 bushels per acre, which shows the Washtenaw farmers to be nearly two bushes an acre better off than the average farmers in the state. In this county it is estimated that 28 per cent was winter killed, or ruined by insects. Corn is estimated at 95 per cent of an average condition, which is 3 per cent better than the average in the state. Oats are reported at 101 per cent of an average crop, timothy at 75 per cent, clover 87 per cent, and peaches 78 per cent.
