The L'olitical Scieuce Association of the University of Michigan has made airangements for a course of six lec tures to be given during the uext year. These lectures will treat of the American Constitution as reflecte! in the Federal and State Courts, and will be delivered by prominent jurista of the country. Hon. Stanley Matthews, of the Supreme Bench; Hon. T. M. Cooley, Uhairman of the iuter-State Commerce Commission; Hon. Daniel H. Chamberlain, ex-Governor of South Carolina; and Hon.Heury Hitchcock,of St. Louis, have already siguifled their willingness to take part in this course. As these lectures will be both critical and biographical, treating of the lives of the Chief Justices of the U. S. they will be interesting to students of American history as well as to student3 of law.
