In the case of Miller.vs. Corawell, et al. a bilĂ­ was filed to remove the defeudant's mill-dam at Geddes. The Circuit Court ref used to order the reruoval of the dam aud allowed f2,000 darnage to the complainant for flowage. The Supreme Court on oppeal has also denied complaiuants applicatiou for the removal of the dam and has reduced the damages allowed to $1,500. The result was a great victory for Mr. Whitman. who was counsel for defeudants.
