The board oï trusteed ot the Methodist cliureh held their quarterly conference last Tuesday evening. The folio iving stewards Iwere elected for one year: Dr. C. G. Darling, L. D. Wine3, J. E . Beal, Prof. Steere, J. J . Goodyear, 0. 11. Worden, A. II. Koyes, Mra. Day, Johnson, Neal and Hendrickson. The various committees were appointed. The following resohition, introduced byRev. 'Benj. Day, was unammously adopted: Resolved, As membersof the Quarter]v Conference of the ürst Methodist Episcopal church of Ann Arbor, in quarterly conference convened we pause to note, that the pastoral relation of Dr. Kamsav to our church ia soon to termínate in accordance with our church polity. . We reeognise. nncl hishlv appreciate the efficiency of his three years pastorate. Tlis ministry of the gospel from our pulpit, has been marked bv superior ability, religious fervor and signal sucCJPÖS His nastorate labor among the members of the church at their social catherings, in the homes of the sick and ot the beieaved, has carried comfort to the afflictad.encouragementandinspiratiou to all. while his urbane, ptentlemaniy, Christian deportment wasendeared him to all the congregación. íAa, He leaves the church in a decidedly healthy condition, both socially, flnancially and religiously. and with God s blessing ñas accomnlished a great aeai for the good of our Zion. Dr. Kamsay and his family in taking leave of us for another charge, will carrv with them our f ullest confideuce, our warmest christian sympatlnes, and our fervent prayers. We shall be happy to greet them at our homes and elsewhere, whenever the opportunity may occur.
