A New Pastor Called

At the meeting of the congregaüon of the Presbyterian church last Sunday, ït was decided to extend a cali as pastor to Eev. Joseph Mills Gelston, of Pon;iao. Rev. Mr. Gelston has been the pastor of the Pontiac church for thirieen or fourteen years. Previous to that time he was pastor of the Plymouth church. He is a gradúate of the University and took his theological course in New York city. He is a son of Rev. Maltby Gelston and nephew of Rev. Mills Gelston, of this city. He is an able preacher and preaches without notes. He has not as yet signifled his intention of accepting or dechning the cali.
