Did Not Know His Assailant

J., Sept. 11.- Danmsl Bennett, the oíd note broker, wbo was mysteriously assaulted and robbed in bis bedroom Saturday uight or early Sunday morning, after ljing in a serai or wholly unconscious condition since, regained hi3 seuses Tuesday morning. He could throw no light oa tho mystery surrouading his case, and declared he was uuable to teil who assaulted him. He said he did not, he thought, close the front doors of the house tightly whea he retired Saturday uight.
