Fleminqton, N. J., Sept. 11. - William P. Emory, a rich lumber merchant, committed suicide Sunday afternoon by jumping into a ceespool in the rear of nis residence. His body was found at 4 o'clock Monday morning. Mr. Emory was 78 years oíd, an eider in the Presbyterian church, and a bank director. He leaves a fortune of about $)ÍOU,000. The cause of the suicide is attributed to the death of his wife, which occurred a year ago. M. E. Edds, a cooper at Pek in, Hls., asgigned yesterday with liabilities of $21,000 and assets of about $10,000.
