The Argus reporter is happy to announce a very pleasant wedding wliich took place Weduesday evening last at the residence of Mr. and Mis. Freeman at 43 South Fourth Street, of this city, The groom, Mr. E. A. Jennings, of Decatur, Mich., is a meraber of the senior literary class of the University and is undoubtedly the most highly respected young man in the l'niversity at the present time. His work for the Students' Christian association, especially in securing funds for the erection of one of the finest studente association buildings in the country, has juatly won for him a high place in the esteem of all who know him. The bride. Miss Hattie Crosby, of New ïork, is also a mernber of the senior literary class,dui ing her stay here she has, by her excellent womanly qualities, made many friends arnong her fellow students and othersinthecity. Indeed it would be hard to find two other yaung people more highly esteemed by those who know them best. There was but a small number at the wedding only a few,near relatives and the im medíate frieuds oL the bride and groom having been invited. The Rev. Mr. Carman, of the First Baptist ehurch officiated. The;pre8ent9 were numerous and valuable, there being amoas others a ladies elegant gold watch and chain with diamond settings, the gift of the brideV sister, Miss Franc Crosby. Slipper was served at ten pr m. An hour later the guests separated feelhag that they had just attended one of the most pleasant affairs of the season. Mr. and Mis. Jennings will remain in Ann Arbor dunne; the coming year in order to complete their work in the University. They will have rooms at 48 South Fourth street, where their numerous friends will lind them at liome.
