It is now stated tliut blua joint grass will grow luxuiianily on the great plains and niountain sites of Nevada, where little vegetaUon, except sage brnsh, lias been iiroduced. It is also said that wild peas will grow t-hcre, and '-liat tlie vines uro re.-idily caten by all kinds of stock. In places tliĆ¼t can be irrigated a few montlis in tlie year, two or tbree crops of alfalfa can be raised.- Chicago Times.
