Sanguine Decatur Physicians
Nashville, Tenn., Sept. ÜG.- A special to The American frora Decatur says: The deserted streets, the closed business houses and the general raelancholy appearauce of everything, show the real condition of things. Two deaths have been reported sinee Monday night- J. H. Weakley and nis son, L. S. Weakley. They were from Brownsville, Tenn., and had been in Decatur bui a short time. Two uew cases were reported yesterday. Notwithstanding the unfavorable showing the doctors still think the worst is over. The supply of provisions and money is about exhausted, an.d is coming in very slowly. No trains, either freight or passenger, are allowed to stop, and communication can only be had by telegraph.
