J. T. Sutherlaiul is attendina; the conference of the Universalista in Portland. Mrs. Charles Perkins, of Gran Rapids, has been visitius? her sister, Mrs. A. V. Hamilton. Hugh II. Jenkins, Jr., returned to Jaekson Wednesday afteruoon, after spending a week iu the city. Mr. E. Schuh, of Toledo, aceompanied by Miss Mary Gwinner, of Toledo, were present at the funeral of Mrs. Gwinner. The Miases Greene, who have been spending the summer with their brother, Piof. C. E. Greene, returned to their home in Cambridge, Mass., yesterday.
