Relatives from Canada are at present visiting with Mr. C. Curpitt. Dacon W. J. Canfield took a trip to Ohio last week. A democratie pole raising took place at the Stone school house Tuesday eventng of this week. Our eider man, J. Fiegel, is hard at work grinding out the applejuice. ]. Araz, óur other eider manufacturer, will soon begin the business. Mr. Baumgartner has been shipping onions by the car, from the Junction to Detroit and Cincinnati. Onion men are sick of the job this year on account of low prices. LFrom AnotherCorrespondent-i RegarJless of the rain the democracy of the town was represented at the stone school house on Monday evening last. A fine. pole 75 feet high was raised after which the issues of the day were ablv cussed by Messrs. McKernan, Manlv, Lehman, Boyle and others. The Ann Arbor city band was in attendance and as usual gave satisfaction.
