Supervisors Add
$2,000 To Reward

The Washtenaw County Board of Supervisors
yesterday added $2,000 to the reward funds for
information leading to the arrest and conviction
of the killer or killers of five young women in this
area.

The board was requested to take this action by
the Ypsilanti Township Board. The sum of $2,000 is
the maximum amount the county can offer, by law.

A number of other rewards have been offered
the individual cases, with some pertaining to all.

The supervisors also appropriated $5,950 for the
purchase by the sheriff of two police motorcycles
for traffic and parks patrol, gave the prosecuting
(orney permission to sell his present investigation
;ir and buy a new one for no more than $600 more
than the old one, appropriated $1,400 for purchase
of law books and $675 for initiating a new informa-
tion and warrant system, both for the prosecutor.
