Malch Chunk, Pa., Oct. 23.- The district attorney of Carbon county shortly befora midnight Tuesday night igsued warrants for the arrest ut Henry Cook aud Thomas Major, engineers; John Mulhearn and Joseph Pohl, loukouts; James Eannigan, ñagman, and Charles Terry and Joseph Keithline, conduetors, charging them with gros3 negligence and willful misconduct and for fuiling to observe the precautiona and rules which it was their duty to obey and observe wbile they were employed in the conveyance of passengers for the Lehigh Valley Railroad company, causing the great accident at Mud Run, which resulted in killing and injuring many persons.
