To the Yoters of the Second Congressianal District:- The Greenback Congressional Uonvenlionheld ïu the city of Adrián, passed thetollowing resolution: "That we unanimously endorse the nomination of Willaat Stearns, and pledge ourselves to use all honorabi meaus to secure his election." The convention having become acquainted witti the political record of the nooainee were couvinced that he was nearer the people and that his views upoo tariff and fluancial reform were more in harmony with the principies of the Greeuback, labor reform, and antimonopoly votéis than anyone else whom these vqters could nomínate with the po3sibility of eleeting. Therefore taking into consideration his political history and the action of the greenback party of the 2ud district in relation thereto, and believing him to be the toe of trusts, pools, combines and monopolies, wá appeal to every greenbacker, labor ref ornier, and wage vvorker to vote for and use all honorable means to secure the election of Willard Stearns, thereby sending to Uongress a faithful defender of the farmer, mechanic, tradesman and laborer. Üur interests and our duty demand it. Gveenback State Committee 2d. O Jng. District.
