St. I.ojis, Mo., Oct. 26.- The world'a ehampionship coateit between St. Louis and New York was seltlad yesterday by the overwhelming defeat of the Browns by the Giants. Buck Ewing's all-around work is largely responsible for tbe Brown's defeat, not only in this game but throughout the series. He not only caught Keefe yesterday in a masterly style, but he knocked out a home run in the first inning, and with three men on bases in the third inning sent them all home on bis three-bagser to center, which Herr frigütfully misjudged. Keefe never pitched in better style, and was magniflcently supported. Score: St. Louis 0 0 0 10 0 110-3 New York ....10810000 (i - 11 Hits- St. Louis, 5; New York, 13.
