Chicago, üct. 29.- Jndge W. K. McAllister, for mauy years one of the most noted men on the bench of Illinois, died very suddenly at his home iu Raveuswood shortly after 12 this morning. His death was sudden and quite unespected, although he was 70 years of age. He had been troubled for several months with rheumatism, which six or eight weeks ago developed heart trouble, and tve immediate cause of death was heart failure. Judge McAllister was born Aug. 5, 1718, at Balem, Washington county, N. Y. , and moved to Illinois inany years ago.
