Des Moines, Iowa, Nov. 3.- The most important decisión ever made by the Iowa railroad commissioners was filed Saturday morning in the case of the complaints of Davenport, Dubuque and Burlington job bers. The cotnmissioners reafflrm tbeir sehedule of June 28 in the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth classes, and A, B, C, D, and E classes, with the addition of the lumber rates, in tbe Burlington caso the western classification being adopted in lieu of the Illinois classiflcation. The decisión is signed by Commissioners Smitk and Campbell, Commissioner Dey refusing to sign on the ground that Mr. Fred Wilde, of Davenport, secretary of the Twin Cities Kreight assoeiation, in a letter dated Oct. 81, threatened bim with the opposition of the jobbers imtess he signed the decisión by Friday, Nov. 2. "In tbis situation," says Dey, in a note to tbe press, "I am compelled by my feeling of self-respect to decline until after the election to give any expression of my views upon the subject." The decisión causes great rejoicing among the jobbers and manufacturera here, as it puts the commissioners' schedule in force despito the Brewer and Kairall injunctious.
