Detroit, Micli., Nov. 6.- In 1S84 Maxwell M. Pisher, 59 years of age, a müüonaire of Detroit, and Francés A Garrison, 55 years of age, were married. They went oa a wedding tour to California. A month later, while in Santa Barbara, he alleges that his wife yelled one night so long and so loud that half the people in the hotel awoke and Hstened. They traveled around California for about two months, and at alniostevery hotel Mr. Fisher alleges that bis wife repeated the Santa Barbara performance. On May 1 this curious honeyraoon terminated, and they settled down in this city. ïhen their diffleulties began in earnest. Mr. Fishtr charges that his wife circulated scandalous stories about him and an innotent young woman living in the household, and even went so far as to give uch stories circulation through a newspaer. One evening in November, 1885, Mr. i'isher states that his wife "begau to talk at iim,"and eontinued the Caudle lecture until o'clock the next morninL without intermission. At that hour Mr. Fisher timidly ttempted to talk back, when slie sprang rom the bed, ha says, and hit him in the ace several times, knocking him out in the rst round, as he confesses.
