Quite a number of the friends and relatives of Charles Moore went to Milán last Monday to attend his funeral. Mr. Moore formerly lived near Ypsilanti. Winter term of the Morgan school begins next Monday with Miss Crittenden, of Macon, as teacher. D. Russell hircd a number of men and teams and drew the bnck last Friday to build a coal-kiln. He is also about ready to stock up his new store. Mrs. Lydia Butts, of this pluce, ha gone to London, Monroe county to visit her son.
