Clare Durand, of the expresa office, i visiting at Chelsea. Mrs. James Ji. Gott visited fnend in Detroit this week. Miss Julia Rominger gave a coffe to a few frieuds last FriJay. Sbenff elect Chas. Dwyer, of Dexte township, was in the city, Monday. Mrs. Carrie Stone attended the Wo man 's Congress in Detroit this week. George Clarken is spending the wee at bis house on the lakes near Ham burg. .. C H Kichmond, Jr.,is now in th city engineer's office in South Omaha Nebraska. Kev. f. M. üelston and family hav moved into their new house 43 Sout Fourth street. Rev. Frank Osborne, a gradúate o the Medical department of 1881, o Laingsburg, Mich., was in the city ove Sunday. Miss Libbie Alexander, who has bee teaching at Honolulú, in Hie Sandwic Islands for the past five years, arrive in the city last Thursday to visit rela tives. She is a gradúate of the An Arbor high scheol, Rev. 'and Mrs. R. H. Steele and Mis Fannie Steele left for San Francisco California, Tuesday night, vhere the will spend some montns with their son Dr. Charles H. Steele. Their depart ure is deeply regretted by many f riend and neighbors, who have come to know them in their eight years residence in this city. __
