Wichita, Kas., Nov. 21.- The inter-acate Oklabonia couventkm held ia this city ytsterday was the largest dumonstration ever held in the west for the purpose of opening the Oklahoma territory. Among those present were Congressmeu Springer, oí Illinois; Weaver, of Iowa, and Mansur, oí Missouri, and Governors Adams, oí Colorado, and Martin, of Kansas. Tbere were 3,000 delegates present when meeting was called to order in Crawford's Opera house. The first business was the unanimous adoption oí a preamble and resolutions. The prearable recites tíat therights of the Indians would not be impaired by the opening of Oklahoma to settlement; that unlessitisso openod lawfully, possession will be sought by illegal means, and that the peaseable settlement oL the territory would put an end tothe lawlessness and crime which now prevail in the absence of any civil gcvernment, The resolutions cali upon congress to pass the pending bilí to organiza the territory of Oklahoma, aud upon the president of the United States to enforce the laws now existing, or to be enucted, looking to tha establishment of the new territory. Congressman Springer delivered an address, paying particular attentiou to his bill now in congress. Congressmen Weaver and Mansur spoke at night, and all pleded themselves to work for the passage of the Springer bill during the early daya of the appioaching sassion.
