The Albert memorial, the monument erected in Hyde paxk by Queen Victoria and the English people to the memory of the good prmoe, is one of the brightest pieces of architecture in London. In fact, it looks as if it might have been picked up in Paris and transplanted to Jts present site, so bright and beautiful is it and so different to anything else in the dark metropolis. Yet the Albert memorial finds no favor with the Dress and peoplo of London
