The Circuit Court
The circuit cnurt commenced its December term, Tuesday, with a docket wliich contained 106 cases. Nicholas Cordary, Ypsilanti, was arraigned oa the charge of false pretences and plead not guilty and was released on a recognizance for $1,000. The case of the people vs William Cook charged with rape was continued over the term. John McDermott, Frederick Day and William Campion plead not guilty of larceny from the person of a Chelsea butcher. D. Cramer was appointed to defeud Day and Campion. McDermott was diSQharged without being tried. The other two were found guilty after seperate jury trial. A decree of divorce was granted, Lizzie T. Inman. The cases of Cox vs Chester and Spencer vs Kusterer were stricken from the docket. Sturm vs Reynolds and Miller vs Kaercher were disconUnued. JSuhwab vs Kelly and Clark V3 Bradley were continued. The case of Sarah A. Cole vs the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern railway was on trial yesterday for injuries received at Pittsford, Ilillsdale county in 1886.
