Splendid weather for this time of year. Mrs. M. F. Galpin apent Thanksgiving with her niece in Adrián. Born to Mr. John Quackenbush and wife on November 3oth, a girl. Your coi respondent ate i.is Thanksgiving turkey at home with a few friends. No mud this lall and the farmers are improving the good roads by drawing wood and grain to market. School commenced last Monday, November 2Óthior the winter term, with Mr. Perry Townsend as teacher. Mr?. James Hanby spent Thankseiving with Rev. Mr. Yager and fiimilv. of Blissfield. She says she had a splendid time. The oyster supper at Mr. Frank Galpin's last Wednesday night, was a success in every pariicular and thcru was a large turn out. The bovs turned out to horn Mr. Frank G.dpin and bride one night last week. Frank and wife were at home hut the boys did not find them. Mrs. T. B., (Jharlie and Bennie Goodspeed, spent their Thanksgiving wilh Mr. Claud Pearsul and wife at Ypsibinti. They report having everthing nice n the eating line and a good time n general.
