M'lle Rhea appears at Llie opera house to-morro w evening wilh an excellent conipany in Shakespeare's "Much Ado about Nothiug " When she appeared in London in this play, the .London Pall Mali Gazette said; Among the mauy accomplished artists who have come from foreign coun;ries to teaeh ns how to play Shakespeare, t'ew have more distinct qualitlcations for the task than the latest arrival. Among the qualities of the newcomer which fit ber to be of service to our stage must be counled very attractive physical gifts. Finer features, a more gracious presence, and a more musical voice, are possessed by no living actress. M'lle lihea supplies an intelligent and, in many respects, a defensible conception of the part It is a pleasure to listeu to her banter ot öenedick. As with' syllabic articulation she pronounces the words of the part, an effect described in Bianca imong the nightingales is realized, and :here is more thought of grace and nusic than of shorteoming in listening to the lovely language 'Bruiseil to sweetness by her foreign mouth.'
