Governor Luce was at the university Tuesday. A play will be given early iu tbe New Year by the University Dramatic Club. The law students last Thursday listened to D. Augustus Straker, the colored lawyer of Detroit. The Rugby eleven were taken in a group by Randall, Saturday. Prettyman wasn't disbarred. Ex-Gov. Stoneman, of California, was ín town Sunday and Monday visiting his son of the senior law class. The junior f raternity hop committee have organized with John Kemplei Delta Tau Delta, as general chairman; Fred W, Smith, Zeta l'si, chairman of reception; T. U. Jayne. Beta Theta l'i, chairman on arrangements; F.B. Close, Delta Kappa Epsilon, chairman on invitation; O. C Smith, Signa Pui, secretary and treasurer. There has been a split in the Junior fraternity hop committee owing to a dissatisfaction on the part of some fraternities on themanuer the various chairmanships have been distributed. The Alpha Delts, Psi U's and Phi Kaps having withdrawn,the hop will be given by the Delta SKappa Epsilons, Signa Phis, Zeta Psis, Beta Theta Pis and Delta Tau Deltas on Feb. 15.
