Killed By A Boiler Explosion

The boiler to the portable saw-mill, which has been located on the farm of John Eenwick in Salem for the past four years exploded Wednesday afternoon with terriflc force. It was owned by JosephWeed, who withSeldon Birch was near at .the time of the explosión. Mr. Weed was Killed and Mr. Uirch was rendered insensible for a time, having an ear blown off, but is now out of danger. The boiler has been considered unsafe for some time as it was cracked and was held by boops shruuk around it for the purpose of holding it. The hoops evidently didn't answer that purpose. Mr. Weed leaves a wife and four children, who have the sympathy of many friends.
