The Charity Concert

All through the lengUi and breadth of the land preuarations are being inaáe for Christmas, and to tliose who would keep it in spirit and iu truth comes tlie tbought of the poor. Whatcau be done to gladden the bearts of the sick and ueedy and of the little oues who have acaree a stocking to hang up for Santa Clause. The Amphiou Club geneiously I answer the question by giving a concert in which every one is iuvited to particípate. The proeeeds will be their ühristmas gift to the poor and the Charitable Union aud the Sewiug School will dispense the liberahty of the club and all assisting in the concert. The coucett will be at the Baptist church at 8 o'clock tonight. i'nce of adrnission 25 cents.
