Thrown From Her Buggy
Mrs. Dr. Hartley was thrown from her buggy last Friday and seriously injured. She was driving on iMorth Main street nearly opposite Hon. John J. Kobison's, wheu she met a team which iailed to give her half the road. Her horse was too spirited for her to stop and she drove into the gutter, which it will be[remembered issome f eet lower than the roadbed, the buggy tipping over throwing out Mis. Hartley and the little boy who was with her. The boy escaped uninjured. Mrs. Hartley was taken home in a deliiïous condition. It was at first supposed that her hip was broken, but it was discovered that her injuries were of an internal nature and she spit blood freely.
