W. V. Watts was in Detroit, Monday.- J. ï. Jacobs has been in Lansing this week. Charle? W . Wagner is doing Chicago ! this week. 8. S. Blitz and family spent New Years in Detroit. Dr. D. E. Osborne, recently of China, is visitiug in the city. O. F. Hunt. Esq., of Detroit, was in the city over New Years. G. YV. Noble, of Buchanan, has been vi3iting nis brother, A. L. Noble. Wanen Tremaine, of Wichita, Kan., has been visiting bis fnends here. Mrs. Phillips, of Syracuse, N. Y., is visiting her sister, Mrs. Israel Hall. Mrs. S. C. Eastman, of Chicago, is visiting at her father's, Israel Hali's. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schultz were visiting in the city theflrst of the week. II. T. Morton returned yesterday f rom a flying trip through Kansas and the west. Stewart Millen returned New Years to the military academy at Gambier, Ohio. Mr. E. Iieach, law '87, returned to Chicago, 111., Tuesday, after visiting friends here. A pleasant reception was given bv Major and Mrs. Harnson Soule Saturday evening. Dr. and Mrs. Hand, have been visiting their father, W. Merithew of west Huron Street. Ernest Mann, of Detroit,with his two children, spent Sunday with his sister on south Main street. Architect Speir, of Detroit, spent New Years with Mr. Herman Hutzel on west Washington street. Louis Rominger, of Detroit, has been spending the holidays with his parents on south Fifth street. Mrs. George Alexander, of Roscommon, Mich., who bas been spending a week or two with Mrs. Stone of south Fifth street, has returned homo. Mr. and Mis. Curtis and daughter, Miss ürace and Messrs.
