Another Cruiser Completed

Washington City, Dec. 31.- Mr. Pcott, president of the Union Iron Works, of San Francisco, v, h"re the new cruiser ton" bas been cor9tructed, was at the navy department Saturday and accepted tbe conditions proposed by the departmant for the official trial of that vessnl. Tbe "Charleston" Í6 now corapleted, but the builders wisü to test her machinery tboioughly by doek trial, and it will probably be a mouth or six weeks before the official trial vriK take place.
