Our County Fair Association
The County Fair Association met in the court house yesterday with President Braun in the chair. The society fixed the time for holding the next fair on jpptember 29 to October 2, inclusive. The following officers were elected: General Superintendent, F. E. Mills. Supt. of Cattle, John Sperry. Supt. of Horse Dept., Patrick Toumey. Sheep, John Braun. Swine, Richard Nowland. Poultry, John M. Bird. Farm Implements, John Keppler. Farm and Garden, H. Hicks. Dairy and Sweet Meats, E. E. Leiand. Fruit, S. B. Winans. Flowers, Mrs. Nathan Sutton. Mechanical Works, William Aprill. Exhibition Hall, T. J. Keech. Marshal, Patrick Ir win. Miscellaneous, Geo. Sperry. Trial of Speed, Carlos Hill. The treasurer's report was received and a vote of thanks given to Treasurer Dell. The Superintendent was instructed to secure a competent person to furnish good meals on the grounds for twenty-five cents. A very interesting report, by Superintendent Mills, was read, which will be published in full next Tuesday, the late hour at which it was received precluding a publication in full this week.
