Scio

The funeral of William Morrison, From his late residence in Scio Village, was attended by a large number of friends to the Catholic church, where service was held. His remains were placed in the cemetery at Dexter. Mr. Morrison was an old resident of Scio, having lived in the township over 30 years. At his death he was about 72 years old. He was born in the county Down, treland, he died in Detroit last Tuesday morning, Jan. 6, at his daughters' residence where he was visiting. He leaves eight children, hree boys, two of them married and five girls, three of them married. They are all in good circumstances, both here and in Detroit. The ice harvest is in full blast ïere, a good erop no doubt.
