Pierre, S. D., Jan. 30. - Up to a late hour last night three caucuses were going on of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. Moody was nominated by the Republicans for United States senator, and Tripp by the Democrats. The Independents were still in caucus. In Other States. Teller was unanimously nominated for United States senator by the Republicaa caucus at Denver, Colo. Demócrata of New Hampshire nomintted C. A. Sinclair. Chauncey F. Black was chosen by the Pennsylvauia Democracy. Indiana Democrats renominated Voorlees, and the Republicans chose Hovey. Votes in favor of the following candiiates for United States senator were taken yesterday in the states mentioned. J. K. Jones, Arkansas; J. H. Mitchell, OregonD. B. Hill, New York; H. M. Teller, Colorado; O H. Platt, Connecticut; Z. B. Vanee, North Carolina; Don Cameron, Pennsylvania. In North Dakotu the votes were scattered between half a dozen candidates, Pierce getting the highest six - in the senate and tifcing Miller with aine in the houseThe Kansas Farmers Alliance has exonerated President McGrath of any wrong in sonnection with the Turner letter.
